Implants

Dental implants are made from titanium and are used primarily in to circumstances. Firstly to replace single or multiple tooth loss, or secondly to stabilise full or partial dentures. In our practice we have been involved in restoring implants for over 20 years and we enjoy a very high success rate.

Crowns are custom made to cover an entire tooth. The materials used are gold, porcelain fused to metal (PFM), or all porcelain crowns. On the back teeth crowns are often placed to protect badly worn or heavily filled teeth. With front teeth these reasons also apply but crowns are also often placed to improve appearance or minor misalignment of teeth.
